Clinical Reasearch For Landou Hepatoprotecting Granule To Treat Decompensated Period Of Hepatitis Cirrhosis

Cirrhosis is a chronic hepatic disease characterized by diffuse hepatic fibrosisand tuberculation in the liver tissue. There are many causes of cirrhosis. The mostcommon cause of cirrhosis in China is the infection of HBV and HCV Of which HBVis the most important.In foreign countries,alcoholic cirrhosis is most common.Guided by the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern medicine, Weconsider the main causes of cirrhosis are exteriorly suffering from damp-heatepidemic pathogenic factors or bilharziasis, interiorly suffering from improper dietand emotional disorder. The basic etiology is the impairment of the liver, spleen andkidney; qi, blood and water stagnation.In the period of compensation stage of the disease, the liver and the spleen areusually been harmed, and thus causing qi-depression and blood stasis. The period ofbroken compensation is due to the liver, the spleen and the kidney impairment;meanwhile qi, blood and water mixed and became stagnation. The yin-deficiency ofthe liver and the spleen, and the wastewater stagnation is one important cause of thedisease. It also is difficult to cure. In ancient times, the doctors believe that theyang-deficiency is easy to cure but the yin-deficiency is difficult.This thesis carried forward the experience of the well-known Traditional Chinese Medicineexpert on hepatic diseases, Mr. Liangcai Zou and professor Songxin You. We applied LandoHepatoprotecting Tablet to treat broken compensation period of post hepatitis cirrhosis. Theclinical effectiveness was significant. We observed 60 patients who suffered from hepatitiscirrhosis. The total effective rate was 80%, while the controlled group only 50%. On theimprovement of the main clinical symptoms, positive signs and serum test, the treat group alsoobviously better than the controlled group.
