Objects: To observe the clinical and CAG characteristics of CAD with T2DM, andto study the relationship between TCM syndrome-type and the CAG characteristics ofCAD with T2DM.Methods: 269 patients diagnosed CAD by coronary artery angiography(CAG),including 138 CAD with T2DM and 131 CAD without T2DM, were divided into 8groups according to the Syndrome Differentiation-typing in TCM, the blood stagnatingthe heart vessel syndrome group, the Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome group, the phlegm-turbid stagnation syndrome group, the cold-pathogen invading the heartsyndrome group, the both Qi-Yin deficiency syndrome group, the heart and kidney yindeficiency syndrome group and the yang deficiency syndrome group. Analyze theclinical and CAG characteristics to study the relationship between TCM syndrome-typeand the CAG characteristics of CAD with T2DM.Results: 1.The CAD-DM group has a higher prevalence of three-vessel disease andType C disease, and a higher score of Gensini Score and Leaman Score. 2. The bloodstagnating the heart vessel syndrome, the phlegm-turbid Stagnation syndrome, the bothQi-Yin deficiency syndrome and the Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome are thefamiliar syndromes(90.6%、91.6%).These four syndromes were ranged by thefrequency, in the CAD-DM group the blood stagnating the heart vessel syndrome>thephlegm-turbid stagnation syndrome>the Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndromegroup>the both Qi-Yin deficiency syndrome; and in the CAD group the bloodstagnating the heart vessel syndrome>the Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndromegroup>the phlegm-turbid stagnation syndrome>the both Qi-Yin deficiency syndrome. The CAD-DM group has a higher frequency of the blood stagnating the heart vesselsyndrome than the CAD group. 3.In the CAD-DM group when the Gensini Score isbigger than 40, the frequency of the blood stagnating the heart vessel syndrome(53.5%)and the phlegm-turbid stagnation syndrome (28.9%) is higher than the othersyndromes in the same group, and is higher than the CAD group with the samesyndrome. Conclusions: 1.The CAD-DM group has a higher prevalence of three-vessel disease and Type C disease, and a higher score of Gensini score and Leaman Score. 2.The blood stagnating the heart vessel syndrome, the phlegm-turbid stagnation syndrome, the both Qi-Yin deficiency syndrome and the Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndromeare the familiar syndromes. The blood stagnating the heart vessel syndrome and thephlegm-turbid stagnation syndrome are more familiar in CAD-DM group than CADgroup. 3.In CAD-DM group, the Gensini Score of the blood stagnating the heart vesselsyndrome and the phlegm-turbid stagnation syndrome may be more higher than theother syndromes, which means the illness state of these two syndromes may be moreserious.
