| The period from Jiajing to Chongzhen of Ming dynasty refers to the the EmperorJiajing ascended the throne to Emperor Chongzhen hanged himself in Meishan, whichlasted about one hundred and twenty-two years. The time between Jiajing andChongzhen mentioned here as the object of study is based on the special status of thishistorical period in the history of the development of Ci Poetry of the Ming Dynasty.During this period, the words and the author of the Ci poet increased significantly,theactivities of Ci altar happened frequently, the Ci theory works was also very large.Themost importantly,the featuring wind of Ci in the Ming Dynasty was formed andstereotyped during this period. From the perspective of Poetry and Literature, thecreations of Poetry, Ci, Drama and literary began to impact and break the situationshrouded by the Taige Pavilion, there were also a lot of influential poets and the personwho created many words emerging, and their works of Ci conceived and presentedvarious features of the Ming. Especially the time between the TianQi and Chongzhen,which after the Wanli of Ming,the background of creation and the mentality of the Ciauthors has changed greatly. In addition, the Ci Poetry was showing a new style and theCi Studies was showing a different trend. So we described this as the metamorphosis andtransformation before “the Ci Poetry thriving in Qing Dynastyâ€. Li Kanghua thinks thatthe Ci Poetry thriving began in Jiajing of Ming, and Zhang Zhongmou looked this timeas a flourishing period of the Ming Ci, so we have the reason to say that this is indeed aspecial and investigative period in the late Ming and early Qing of Ci Poetry.The Ci Poetry in this historical period was filled different concepts such as“Xiaodaomozhi "," Yanqingyansu " and so on. Wang Shizhen,the most important personin literary, thought the Ci Poetry was created for romance and exhibitted significant"Yang Wan-Yi Hao" tendency. Another important person Tang Xianzu,who was famoursfor his drama,also showed "the Ci should approach feeling" tend. Chen Zilong,the most influential author in Late Ming,was also thinking Ci should be approaching feeling in hisearly creation time. At the same time, the poetic thought of esteeming of Ci Poetry, theadvocation of the true nature were highlighting and spreading fastly. They alsoexpressed dissatisfactions on the diffused enchanting scenery and Yanye style. MengChenshun and many other authors criticized the characteristics of the Bense theory. In thefinal analysis, there were actually areflections and critiques of traditional Ci Poetrylearning. So many debates was appearing,such as the Debates about Cizhizhengbian, thedisputes about ShangNanchongNorth and the characteristics discrimination aboutCititexing,which were the results of critical reflection appeared in the late Ming and earlyQing. From those we can say that the concepts of Ci poetry in the late Ming and earlyQing were evolving and changing,which was ncessary to pave the way to make the CiPoetry flourish in the Qing Danasty.In this historical period from Jiajing to Chongzhen, there were many representationssuch as Shizhen, Yu Yan, Tang Xian Zu, Chen Zilong. They all had their own views aboutCi, some of them had the interlinked and similar concepts,some even with obviousinherited signs. Wang Shizhen and Chen Zilong showed the same tendencies, they allthought Ci poetry should be gracdful.But when they talked about the issue on Ci shouldbe "nearly vulgar" or "still elegant,"they showed a very different attitude. The former wasnot only thinking Ci should be nearly vulgar of view in the process performance but alsoin the creation of practice had secularization works published. But the latter, especiallywhen he experienced the huge country perish change, he showed the obvious Chong YaShang Ya trend, and Chen Zilong also showed a different attitude from thepre-Aesthetic. Overall, the Ci poetry concepts of this historical period was appearing asignificant heritage and lineage, but also accompanied by controversy with the newchange, which demonstrated that the Ci altar was active and not calm.This article will be divided into five parts to explore the evolution of the Ci conceptsand points of this historical period. The introduction of the study defined the Ci poetryfrom Jiajing to Chongzhen,and described the status quo and the significance of this study.The first chapter describes the Ci altar profile and the social and cultural trends duringthis period. The second chapter outlines the Ci concepts,which are with larger effect andpopular in this historical period. The third chapter is a case study.This chapter introducedthe influential and representative people of Ci poetry (Wang Shizhen, Yu-yan, TangXianzu and Chen Zilong) as well as their Ci concepts. The fourth chapter describes thepoint and impact of Ci poetry on the later Ming and the early Qing Dynasties. In order toidentify the reasons and motivation of “QingCiZhongXingâ€,this chapter investigates theCi concepts’s impact on the Ci altar, styles and fraction. Overall, this thesis is based ondetailed materials and also combining other methods. There are not only overall grasps of the concept of the Ci poetry,but also specific analysis of the cases. With the basis ofprevious studies of the evolution from Jiajing to Chongzhen dynasty of Ming, this thesiswill make certain contribution to the research of Ci poetry concepts’ evolution during thisperiod. |
