Research Of Traditional Vernacular Dwellings In Dabu From The Perspective Of Cultural Geography

The research of traditional vernacular dwellings has progressed to the multi-dis ciplinaryand multi-angle stage. Residential and cultural geography is a cross-discipline of architectureand cultural geography, with cultural geography methods research houses,on the one hand,itcan accurately locate traditional vernacular dwellings and study traditional housesystematically and precisely.On the one hand,from cultural and geographic perspective,itinvestigates the relationship between the physical form and ideology of vernaculardwellings,as well as associated characteristics.The research on cultural geography of rensidential houses is of great significance.DabuCounty area of historical and cultural villages and traditional vernacular dwellings as theresearch object,try to construct houses cultural geography of system.In this paper,a lot ofliterature to read and carpet fieldwork-based to be standardized research information,build aof Dabu County historical and cultural villages and focus on traditional vernacular dwellingsdatabase,generate Dabu County traditional vernacular dwellings cultural geographyatlas.Finally,on the basis of the accumulation in the early theory,the introduction of DabuCounty geographical,social and historical background,Dabu County historical and culturalvillage and traditional vernacular dwellings distribution pattern analysis,drawgeographic,cultural factors affect Dabu County historical and cultural villages and traditionalvernacular dwellings some of the core of the final form of the law.This paper will share some experience on residential areas and cultural geography,andpromote associated research programs.The main content of this paper is divided into four parts:The first part (Chapter1) is the introduction of the paper,which illustrates thebackground and significance of the research,summarizes related research outcomes fromothers in this area,and states the methodology and detailed methods used in this paper.The second part (Chapter2and3) presents the database of Dabu Couty traditionalvernacular dwellings and its cultural geographic atlas.More specifically,the second chapterindicates the importance of building the database of Dabu County traditional vernaculardwellings,and detailed process by doing field research, theoretical study and standardizing information.Chapter3presentes the details of the Dabu County traditional house culturalgeographic atlas.The third part (Chapter4)shows the background analysis the geography and culturewhich influenced the formation of Dabu traditional vernacular dwellings.In terms ofgeographic factors,the paper investigates the geographic location,topography,and climate inDabu.From the cultural perspective,the paper looks into four aspects,namely the Dabu Countyhistory,population development,social transition from farming to civilization,and theinteraction between different cultures.The fourth part (Chapter5) studies the distribution characterisitics of traditional house inDabu,while taking into account of culture and geographic factors.And reach the conclusionregarding the influence of geographic and cultural factors in the establishment of traditionalvernacular dwellings in Dapu.
