The study of dialect has a long history,but it’s the common understanding of expertson dialect that pronunciation is the main characters,until the1970’, the importance ofdialect vocabulary is increasingly being recognized, thus the emergence of a number ofarticles which recording, describing the dialect vocabulary and characteristics.then, withthe further development of Chinese dialect investigation and study, a large amount ofdialect facts and data present in front of people, has provided the possibility for thecomparative study of Chinese dialect vocabulary, more and more educators began to payattention to the comparative study on Chinese dialects vocabulary.The object of thesis is dialect of Shiquan city.Responding to the current research onShiquan dialect words.According to this,i made a dialect glossary.this article comparesand analyzes the differences between Shiquan dialect words and Putonghua glossaries,andsummarizes the morphology fectures, meaning features and grammer features of Shiquandialect words. And i try to sort out the source of Shiquan dialect vocabulary study.Inaddition, also lists some dialect custom vocabulary,in order to reveal the folk culturalsignificance.The thesis mainly separates into five parts.The introduction makes a brief introductionof the Shiquan County’s overview,including geography,population,areas and history;thestudying situation about Shiquan Dialect.In addition,it introduces Shiquan Dialect’sattribution,internal partitions and main features.So that we can make a preliminaryunderstanding of Shiquan Dialect and lay a solid foundation for the whole thesis.ChapterOne analyses features of Shiquan Dialect Glossary from the angle of synchronicdescription and mainly focus on word form,semantic and grammar so as to conclude someunique features of Shiquan Dialect Glossary.Chapter Two discusses etymology features ofShiquan Dialect Glossary from the angle of diachronic description so as to reflect itshistorical evolution laws.Chatere Three having a primary discuss about the folkore customin Shiquan Dialect Vocabulary is one soecial feature of the text.
