Rimbaud And Revolution

On18March1871,the Paris commune was established.Rimbaud,who was yearning for revolution and freedom,became a freelance shooter and joined the revolutionary battle.After the failure of the commune,he began writing new poetry.In September1871,Verlaine lived in Paris accepted him.The two became a couple.As a rebel poet,the revolutionary spirit throughout his life.His hating his hometown,writing amazing poems in such short term,and then resolutely leaving literature to foreign countries to stray,all of these embodies the revolutionary spirit of the poet.This thesis focused on the revolutionary spirit of the poet’s poetry,to explore the relationship between the poet and the revolution,anchored for in-depth analysis of his poetry.The introductory part,the author combed and commented about Rimbaud’s domestic and foreign research status,elaborated the purpose and significance of the topic and explained the paper’s angle and the value of innovation.The first part,by analyzing Rimbaud’s image during the three periods of the establishment of the Paris Commune,the author discribed the impact of Paris Commune revolution on Rimbaud.This chapter elaborated it in details from two aspects:spirit adrift and body stray.The second part,by text reading,the author analysed Rimbaud’s poetry theme revolutionary in three aspects:songs of the revolution,revolts against religious and gay erotic poetry.The third part,the author elaborated the form revolutionary of Rimbaud’s poetry from three aspects:words revolution—alchemy of the word;the contents revolution—ugly provocative elegance and fragmentation;the rhetoric revolution—parody.The fourth part,the author elaborated Rimbaud’s revolutionary spirit by analysing the revolutionary spirit of Rimbaud’s poerty,It mainly reflected in his psychic thought.The author elaborated it from three aspects:the basic formation of Rimbaud’s psychic thought:his idea of psychic autocratic way of viewing("I is another");the psychic’s fantasy ("autocratic fantasy").
