All kinds of languages in the world are constantly evolving and changing, andJapanese is out of exception. The Japanese language also gradually internationalizeswith the internationalization of politics, economy, culture, and life. And with thedevelopment of historical process and the expressing need of intonation and speed,Japanese gradually changes in the speech flow, namely, the phonetic change ofspeech flow that we are familiar with. This is a very broad problem, and itsoccurrence involves many aspects, such as the historical changes of rhymes, the localdialects, and the places of articulation and linguistic habits of the Japanese. Due tothe impacts of Chinese, our mother tongue and English, the Japanese learners in ourcountry find that this is a very common phenomenon in the process of in-depth studyand research; there are many types and a high frequency which has brought greatdifficulties to the Japanese study. What we study in class is almost the standardpronunciation, but we cannot understand in the actual communication such as theJapanese anime, movies, TV series, and entertainment programs. To solve thisproblem, it is necessary to teach the laws of phonetic change and to practice so as toimprove the ability of listening comprehension. The phenomenon of phonetic change of speech flow occupies a key position ina language, and it is also an important approach to obtain and to expand thevocabulary. The phenomenon of phonetic change of speech flow is not disorganizedor irregular at all; therefore, it is necessary to study and to strive to explore the lawsbehind this phenomenon. And the phonetic change of speech flow is quite importantto pronunciation and audition; therefore, as Japanese learners, we must master therelated laws of Japanese phonetic change of speech flow, learn its definitions, kinds, conditions, causes, and impacts, and do the targeted practice so as to have goodpronunciation and listening and speaking abilities and to be more smooth and relaxedwhen communicating with the Japanese. This thesis has great significance both theoretically and practically. Firstly, itmakes in-depth exploration on the basis of the researches of Chinese and Japanesescholars. Secondly, it makes the analysis towards the practical problems encountered by Japanese beginners, and finds out the responding solutions. I hope that the thesiswill help the Japanese learners in their future study.
