| Listening is one of the most commonly used language skills in language communication. Second language learners’listening comprehension ability directly affects their communicative competence. In the process of Teaching Chinese as Second Language (TCSL), Chinese listening is considered the most difficult to grasp and least effective for overseas students. So how to improve overseas students’ listening comprehension has received more and more attention. It is also imperative to regulate the listening teaching of TCSL by means of second language acquisition theory.Being in the perspective of Krashen’s Monitor Model theory, the paper has done some systematical discussion and analysis in the process of listening teaching of TCSL. Meanwhile, a detailed teaching plan is designed by the author, aiming to promote a better research in the listening teaching of TCSL.This article is composed of five chapters:Chapter one:Introducing the general background and the relevant fruits gained by others. Giving the research purposes, research significance and research methods. Chapter two:The presentation of related concepts and finding the relationship between the theory of learning and the practice of teaching. Chapter three:Explaining the revelation of Krashen’s Monitor Model to the listening teaching of TCSL in details and exploring the process of the teaching by means of second language acquisition theory. Providing theory support for the next chapter. Chapter four:Designing three stages of the specific application of Monitor Model theory in the course of Chinese listening teaching:Pre-listening,While-listening,Post-listening.Offering some valuable suggestions for the improvement of the Listening of TCSL.Chapter five:Summarizing the whole article and proposing the innovation of the article. |
