Throughout the three stages of the whole development of Chinese learners' listening skills,the primary stage is the foundation.Whether they can lay a good listening foundation will affect the development of their future Chinese level.However,many Chinese learners reflect that listening is difficult to learn,and many elementary listening teachers of Chinese as a foreign language find it difficult to teach listening well.According to the survey,there are some problems in the primary listening class of TCFL,such as too mechanical training form,not obvious improvement of students' listening skills,lack of attention to students in the process of teaching,and insufficient interest in learning.Krashen's second language acquisition theory,the "language monitoring model" theory,has greatly promoted the development of second language teaching.It attaches great importance to the input of language,emphasizes the role of acquisition,and pays attention to the emotional factors of learners.It also provides a lot of inspiration and reference value for the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language in China.In the teaching steps of the elementary listening course of TCFL,such as before,during and after listening,in view of the problems in the elementary listening teaching,making full use of the beneficial enlightenment brought by the Monitor model can play a positive role in improving the classroom efficiency and helping students to better understand the listening foundation.It is suggested that the primary listening teaching of Chinese as a foreign language should pay attention to the quality and quantity of input,adopt various training forms to create the target language environment,strengthen the guidance of learning methods to improve learning initiative,pay attention to students' psychology and create a positive classroom atmosphere,and properly integrate social and cultural knowledge to promote the development of learners' listening.Monitor model can solve some problems in the teaching of elementary listening of TCFL to a certain extent.
