During the long history of human civilization, translation is the exchange activities between two different languages. From the ancient time to the modern time, from western countries to eastern countries, the researches and the practice related to the translation are never stopped, at the same time, the translation theories which have different features are being developed too. Among these theories, as the emergence of the feminism in the19th centuries, the researches about the feminism are being developed. The translation of the feminism is a new kind of theory about the translation. And it becomes an important point in the researches about the translation. A lot of researchers make a lot of effort to study these kinds of theory, and they make a lot of progress. These researchers include Luise von Flotow and Barbara Godard.From then on, the theories about the translation of the feminism are being developed. As a result, the limitation of the traditional theories of the translation has been broken up. And the translation of the feminism has been developed quickly. Researchers make a lot of studies about the similarity of the feminism and the translation, and the status of women becomes higher than before. At the same time, the status of translation becomes higher too.Another topic that the researchers study a lot is the subjectivity of the translators, and they agree that translators are the subject of the translation.As the cultural exchange between China and western countries become more frequent, the theories of the translation of the feminism that belong to the western countries affect China a lot. In China, the theories about the translation of the feminism begin to develop.This article discusses two aspects, the first one is the subjectivity of the translators, and the other one is the translation of feminism. This article also discusses that how these two aspects combine. This is a new viewpoint for the research about the theories of the translation.As we all know, Gone With the Wind is a famous American novel, and it has been translated into many languages. In China, there are many different translations of this novel. Through the comparative analysis of the three Chinese translations of this novel, this article tells us how the translators develop their subjectivity in their translations, Particularly, this article emphasizes the subjectivity of the female translators, such as Li Meihua.At the end of this article, some suggestions for future studies about the feminist translation have been made.
