Euphemism is the Han nationality integral component of social communication.Euphemisms is like lubricants, lacking of communication may cause serious consequences, andeven lead to interrupt the entire communication activities, worse will cause serious damagerelationships. Visible, the euphemism is very important for foreign teaching. Meanwhile, the useof euphemism is an important indicator to measure the level of Chinese learners andcommunicative competence, so that the euphemism should become an important content ofexternal teaching Chinese. This thesis is to study for the teaching of foreign language teaching inChinese euphemism expanded.This paper studies the body of euphemism first. Through research and explore the definitionof euphemism, function and type of several aspects in the paper to lay a solid foundation for thestudy of the body euphemism. Then on this basis, expand the focus of research of this thesis,namely the study of foreign language teaching euphemism. For this study, the author mainlydivided into two parts, the first part is the foreign language textbooks euphemisms study, thesecond part is a euphemism for foreign students ’ acquisition of inspection.Part I:Papers divided the Chinese euphemism euphemistic words into a narrow and a broadeuphemism two categories. Scope of the study is the Beijing Language and Culture UniversityPress published a textbook-Developing Chinese (2nd Edition), which is spoken mainly selectedmaterials, including beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. After determining the scope ofthe study, the author focused on the teaching of euphemisms were collated and analyzed, mainlyin the form of a chart, summary of each of the first number of textbooks use euphemisms.Secondly, on this basis, according to the author Chinese euphemism for classification, theeuphemisms that have been aggregated into teaching euphemism euphemistic words andexpressions are the list of statistical quantities, calculate the proportion of the total amount ofeach category of euphemism, and according to the table, draw the image of the pie, convenientnext comparison and analysis. Third, according to constitute a means of euphemism to classifiedit, euphemism is divided into grammar, semantics and pragmatics tactful euphemism three categories, and count the number of them appear in textbooks, calculated as a percentage of thetotal number of listed table and draw the corresponding pie chart. Fourth, according to thelanguage of euphemism function, I will examine the emergence of euphemisms textbooks intothe suggestions/opinions, criticism/dissatisfaction request/requirements, oppose/reject thesefour functional categories, respectively statistics in tabular form for each number of euphemismsfunctional class, calculate the proportion, and draw a pie chart.Through the research design above, the author analysis results carefully, and using the datato ensure the authenticity and reliability of the study and acquire the study found.Part II: The author examines the scope of Shandong Normal University, College ofInternational Exchange class’s Intermediate and advanced courses for international students andsome foreign language teachers.The study selected questionnaires and questionnaire divided intotwo parts. First questionnaire is the main questionnaire, and is for the Acquisition of studentseuphemism designed; Second questionnaire is the vice volume part for the International Instituteissued by foreign language teachers, and the principal is to investigate their attitudeseuphemism teaching, comments and suggestions.By the author of the analysis and study questionnaires, statistics every question ofquestionnaire in a correct rate, the selectivity of each option, and intermediate and advancedclasses in euphemistic words, euphemisms semantics, syntax, and pragmatics euphemismeuphemistic four aspects of language to make a correct rate comparison, and drawing the imageof the bar graph. Finally, make analysis based on statistical results and get the conclusions.Finally, according to two parts based on statistical results and statistical analysis, authoracquire the revelation of teaching, namely teaching suggestions for foreign language teachers,foreign language teaching suggestions and recommendations for the preparation of studentseuphemism acquisition.This paper attempts to do some superficial research in teaching foreign languageeuphemism.
