There is a systematic cognitive process from mental activities to language expression.Revealing the cognitive process is very necessary to study the deep semantic relations ofmandarin transitional complex sentence. Conceptual structure and language structure areformed in the two-way interaction between humans and reality. Analysis and describe theconceptual structure and language structure can provided the cognitive motivation to thewhole generation process of transitional complex sentence semantic relations. And thisgeneration process from experience to language. The semantic relations of transitionalcomplex sentence include violated causality, contrast, supplementary or restriction.Performance on information structure is the presupposed information and focus information. Background the first sentence, foreground the after sentence and mark in the transitionalconjunction are the characterization of transitional complex sentence semantic relations.Contradiction between the ‘idealized cognitive model’ and ‘non-idealized cognitive model’ isthe generative bases of transitional relations. The projection of presupposition, projection offocus and cognitive inference constitutes the generation process of transitional complexsentence semantic relations from coding to decoding. And the universal relation, the leasteffort principle, the syntactic iconicity are the causes of generating transitional complexsentence semantic relations. Therefore, there is a conflict in the interaction between thenon-bound link of things and human mental activity. Such a conflict reflected in the languageproduced the transitional complex sentence semantic relations.
