| The damage of the Opium became more and more serious during the middle period of Qing dynasty since the opium entered into China in the late Ming dynasty. The opium jeopardized China for hundreds of years, especially since modern times, andsuccessive governments had no good strategies to deal with this problem. Until the new China was founded in1949, the new governmenttotallyprohibited the opium in as littleas threeyears. That created a mirade in the Anti-drug history and shocked the world.This paper takes the prohibition movement of tobacco and drugs in the Inner Mongolia at the beginning of the new China (1950-1953)as the research object.The paperis based on relevant historical materials, using Marxism history study, analyzing the cause and effect of the whole movement. The full text is divided into four chapters and twelve sections, the first chapter introduces the general situation of the opium problem in Inner Mongolia at the beginning of new China, including opium planting, circulating, smoking and related background; The second chapter introduces Anti-smoking drug policy in the early years of the founding, including the central policy, policy of Suiyuan province, policy of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and relevant background; The third chapter introduces the process of the Anti-smoking drug in Inner Mongolia at the beginning of newChina, including prohibition of planting〠producingã€transportingã€marketingã€smoking etc,and related achievements. The fourth chapter analyzes the experience and lessonsof whole movement, I wish this can provide future generations with a little help. |
