The Principles And Strategies For Translating The Key Discourses On "the China-US Human Rights Dialogue"

The China-Us Human Rights Dialogue has been playing a leading role on the political and diplomatic stage of the two countries. Being a component of diplomatic translation, China-Us Human Rights translation is similarly sensitive and specific. By applying the theory of "political equivalence" proposed by Dr. Yang Mingxing to analyzing specific cases, this essay focus on the study of key words translation on China-Us Human Rights Dialogue to find out more practical translation strategies in this aspect.This essay consists of four parts.The first part gives a general description of the background of the China-Us Human Rights translation and points out its importance to the translation of China-Us Human Rights Dialogue.The second part includes a systematic analysis and generalization of the theory of Political equivalence, which is the guidelines for this essay, and puts forward a model for the translation of key words on China-Us Human rights.The third part determines the guiding significance of the theory of political equivalence based on the analysis of the characteristics and purposes of key words translation on China-Us Human Rights Dialogue,The fourth part summarizes the viewpoints in this essay and points out their practical value.
