Thedevelopment of China is not only depends on the hard working of Chinese people, alsoextremely ties with our learning of advanced theory of western countries. Learning othercountries knowledge, then we could be stronger then them. It is the sentence which makesChinese notice the importance of learning western knowledge and culture. Moreover, the firstthing we should learn about their knowledge is language. As the result, interpreters playimportant roles in the development of communication with other countries. In a friendlyrelationship between china and other countries, both translator and interpreter are importantin the commercial and cultural communication. Escort interpreting is one of the significanttypes of interpreting. It is not as well-known as simultaneous interpreting in daily life. But itis common in our life, and been used a lot. Compared with other types of interpreting, it hasits own characteristics. Escort interpreting not only have requirements in accurate, but also inthe interpersonal communication.This paper based on an escort interpreting I attended. As the interpreter, I helped LAWinds with their2013China tour in some cities. According to the analysis of the problemthat I met in some special situations and the conclusion of the whole practice, I tried to do aresearch of how to combined practice with theories in order to develop the interpreting skillsof myself.
