As China’s informationzation procedure went on, more and more attention werepaid to security issue of e-government terminals. For this purpose,“ChinaGovernment Desktop Core Configuration Standard” was made by State InformationCenter. To verify the effectiveness of this CGDCC, a design and implementation ofCGDCC verification and deployment platform was proposed in this paper, andimplemented by author and colleagues.To verify CGDCC, the objects and tasks of the verification and deploymentplatform were proposed, also the verification steps were decided, covered theeffectiveness, usability, serviceability and deployment result of CGDCC. Detaileddesign of verification and deployment platform was proposed, includes theInitialization Tools, Domain Manager, Fore-end Server Configuration Platform,Cascade Server Monitor Platform, Devices Scanner, Agent and WSUS. A practicalway to verifying a e-government standard was provided, which wan able to guide theverifying of a e-government national standard and also help monitoring the securitystatus of government desktops.An actual platform was built and tested in practical working environment. Morethan300terminals were included and managed by the verification and deploymentplatform for6month; based lines and core configuration were implemented. Testingresults gathered from the platform and those managed terminals verified theeffectiveness, usability, serviceability and good deployment results of CGDCC.
