The Research On Administrative Region Of An Hui Province During Republic Of China

Administrative Region, also known as a political subdivision or administrative area, generally refers to a country’s area under the jurisdiction of local administrative bodies. Administrative Region is a product of political and economic development, and is also changed accompanied by political and economic changes. Administrative divisions refers to the process that from the administration needs, a government divides their jurisdiction land into different levels hierarchy areas. China’s current administrative is based on the administrative divisions in the Republic of China period, and is also evolved after several decades of development. From the establishment of the Republic of China to the present, Chinese society’s political, economic, cultural and other undertakings has undergone tremendous changes. Since China’s reform and opening up three decades, the existing administrative divisions have gradually been out of the Chinese construction and development; so, it is very necessary to conduct China’s reform of administrative divisions.We must promote reform of administrative divisions steadily and orderly. So, it is necessary to study and understand of the evolution of Chinese administrative division history, especially administrative Region during the Republic of China; because it has a strong practical significance in the work of administration division reform. As an important economic, cultural, populous province, An hui is located in the central region of China, and has played important role in the Republic of China; so, compared with the other area, the changes of this administrative Region both have the personality, but also with common. This paper is targeted at the changes of this administrative Region during the Republic of China, through discussion to explore the characteristics of administrative divisions, evolution rules and the enlightenment, is hoped to present reference for the present reform of administrative divisions.This framework of this paper is as follow:1.Introduction；2, the changes of this administrative region during the Republic of China;3.Case analysis of administrative adjustment during the Republic of China in An hui province(including the changes of affiliation and the newly established county municipalities);4.the laws and enlightenments from the evolution of administrative region, and conclusion.
