The water shortage is the main problem facing the world’s major cities currently. Reclaimed water is non-potable water can be used within a certain range, which is urban sewage, waste water after sewage treatment plant or recycled water treatment station purification reach the national standard. Reclaimed water from the city sewage, which has a huge number, stable, independent of weather conditions and limitations of the other natural conditions characterized. So it is known as the city of second water source. As long as the city wastewater output, there is a reliable source of recycled water. Therefore, the use of reclaimed water has become an effective way to solve urban water shortages. Currently, in order to achieve water recycling, the major cities in China have set up the different scale renewable water treatment plants and recycled water pipeline network.The urban regeneration water use of information such as renewable water pipe transport network, recycled water treatment plant, regenerated water intake point and recycled water users and so on, which have typical space distribution characteristics. The GIS technology used in urban regeneration water use of information management and establish based of GIS urban regeneration water use visual information systems has become an inevitable trend.This paper designs and builds GIS-based urban regeneration water use spatial database, which aims to filling application requirements of Kunming renewable water use information management. It is based on Kunming recycled water use data. At the same time,it provides data support for the city reclaimed water use GIS platform.Papers on the theories and methods of spatial data model, spatial data analysis and research, focusing on object-oriented data model-of Geodatabase. On the basis of the Kunming renewable water utilization data source for analysis and satisfying with the demand of renewable water utilization management department of management, based on UML and CASE tools, the use of the Geodatabase space data model, design and build a database of Kunming renewable water use of space. It mainly including the transport of recycled water pipe network, recycled water treatment plant, pumping stations, to reclaimed water intake point and renewable water users and other geographic features. The paper elaborates layers of spatial database design, concept design and logic design, and gives the Information Visualization platform some features of the use of recycled water which based on the spatial database implementation.
