The research purpose of article:on the one hand,the test conditions and test results of Fei-color jade heat treatment is obtainted,in order to meet the need of the red jade;On the other hand,the method of differentiate heat treatment Fei-color jade and natural red jade was obtainted,through research on heat treatment Fei-color jade. It has a certain significance for retionalising market.On the basis of colorimetric knowledge, the use of USB2000+fiber opticspectrometer,Fei-color jade was defined and classified;Fei-color jade composition and structure were analyzed by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry and X-ray diffraction analysis;Based on the above analysis,the realationship between the saturation of Fei-color jade and the iron content contained was obtainted,and refence date was obtainted through Fei-color jade heat treatment test. Finally, according to the heat treatment imformation,heat treatment tests of Fei-color jade was done through the use of high-temperature tube resistance furnace.The following conclusions:1. Fei-color jade refractive index is from1.666to1.680, the relative density is from3.25to3.40g/cm3,the absorption spectrum:The area of the blue-green, blue and purple is assimilated.The absorbing region is main region of absorption spectra for iron.2. The saturation values of Fei-color jade samples were20.593,21.129,22.558and26.09;The chemical elements of Fei-color jade are Na, Al, Si, and a small amount of Fe, Ca, Mg;The diversification of Fei-color jade Saturation and iron content show that saturation of Fei-color increase with increasing the iron content.3. The main mineral of the sample is jadeite,the samples contain a certain amount of gorthite and hematite.4. In this test,the highest heat treatment temperature is lower when the texture of the heat treatment test sample is better,it about400℃, the highest heat treatment temperature is higher when the texture of the heat treatment test sample is worse,it about550℃.5. The heat treatment sample contain a certain amount of limonite,the limonite dehydration in a certain extent, part of the limonite transformed into hematite. The iron content of heat treatment sample has increased,through X-ray fluorescence spectrometer.6. The heat treat Fei-color that were not with natural red Fei distinguish heat treatment Fei-color jade by the naked eye,conventional instrument and infrared spectra is obtained.
