In this paper, based on the theory of Reservoir geology, Petroleum geology, Sedimentology, Logging geology and other disciplines, as the research object to SuiNing-PengXi region, which consolidated the drill core, logging and testing information, we did deep reseach on the precipitation facie characteristics, reservoir characteristics, reservoir distribution and its development master factors in the Xu2of this working area to obtain the key findings as follows understanding:The Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation of study area shall be divided into six layers from top to bottom. Based on the rock electrical characteristics and sedimentary cycle characteristics, the destination layer Xu2is divided into upper, middle and lower layers from top to bottom. The upper and lower sections performance as low gamma and the massive low resistivity sandstone, which is mingled with thin mud shale and coal line and the middle section performance as two mud shale mingled with one sandstone lay. We consider the depositional environment priority to brink mere deposition, and preliminary account that the reservoirs are developed at the plot of beach bar sand bodies. Take6%as porosity lower limit, the reservoir has the following characteristics:①reservoirs have the particularly low porosity, ultra-low permeability, high water saturation characteristics;②the lithology is mainly feldspar debris sandstone;③reservoir space is mainly the secondary porosity and the primary origin intergranular hole, partly develops micro-cracks, is lower developing;④Pore structure is mainly micro pore throat;⑤reservoir type is mainly cracks-pore category. Reservoir development is affected by sedimentary facie, diagenesis fracture development degree and other factors and the sedimentary facie controls the macro-distribution of the sand body; diagenesis is the key to the reservoir development. Destructive diagenesis includes compaction, cementation, goeschwitzite blocked up and constructive diagenesis includes dissolution, goeschwitzite and chlorite formed argillan clay save the pore; the development degree of the cracks is a necessary condition to obtain high productivity well. To study the porosity, permeability and pore structure of this working area, the reservoir is divided into three types and the main reservoir is of Class III reservoir. The vertical direction mainly distributes in upper sub-segment of Xu2and the plane direction mainly concentrately distributes on the northern JIN106E~LI18well area, southern Peng Lai1~Peng Lai well area and Peng Lai11~NV101well area.
