Nowadays, land resource exploration depends on mannual inserting sensor and seismic data acquisition. This exploration mode is low efficiency and high cost. This method is also not suitable for harsh environments. Due to this situation, this paper studies on seismic exploration data acquisition system based on track which aims to achieve high efficiency, low cost and environmental adaptability in resource exploration.After studying on the amplitude-frequency characteristics of the seismic wave, the new seismic exploration data acquisition system based on track has been designed. Based on professional geophone and the data acquisition chipset and ultra-low-power embedded microprocessors CC430, the seismic data acquisition node installed on movable tracked has been designed. Based on TCP/IP protocol and CC430, data transmission relay node installed on frame has been designed. Based on VC++the monitoring and controlling workstation software has been programmed.On the basis of the design and making and debugging, tests has been made on laboratory. The experiment shows:high resolution data acquisition and large capacity data storage and wirless data transfer from tracked to relay node and wired data transfer from relay node to workstation can be realized by the cooperative work of nodes on laboratory. Centralized control and monitor of tracked array of seismic sensor has been achieved. The system can be used to the field exploration testing stage after the reliability design and testing.
