China is abundant with Copper and Molybdenum,but the low grade,the complicated composition and associated seriously conduce the comprehensive recall is difficult.Along with the quickly development of the economy,the social demand of copper and Molybdenum is increasing very quickly and the quality request is higher.Raising the technology level of processing associated mineral of Copper and Molybdenum in our country and choosing copper Mu mineral stone effectively have important economic value and realistic meaning for national economy keeping development.The environment friendly depressor of Copper is explored through flotation separation experiment of pure and actual mineral in this article using Chalcopyrites which come from different place and different kinds of depressors.The testing technology used in this article are infra-red spectrum testing technology and XRD testing technology.All of these have reference value for exploring Copper depressor that can separate Copper and Molybdenum efficiently.The flotability and difference of flotation of Chalcopyrite A, Chalcopyrite B and Molybdenite in the circumstance of the three different depressors when the consistency of the depressors and pH changed.The collector agent used in the experiment is coal oil.The foaming agent used in the experiment is2#oil.The performance of depressing of the three depressors is:QY>Sodium Sulfide>Sodium Thioglycolate;The dosage of them is:Sodium Thioglycolate> Sodium Sulfide> QY.QY is considered as the effective depressor in the separation of Copper and Molybdenum,because of its well depress performance and low dosage and little influence to Molybdenite.As the depressor of Chalcopyrite,QY is both better than Sodium Sulfide and Sodium Thioglycolate when used in the mineral which contains low Chalcopyrite grade and the mineral which contains high Chalcopyrite grade.The content of Copper in the first actual mineral is0.056%.The content of Molybdenum in the first actual mineral is0.11%. Close experiment get the Molybdenum concentrate has grade53.05%, Molybdenum recovery86.80%and Copper concentrate has grade7.78%, Copper recovery81.57%. The content of Copper in the second mineral is17.70%.The content of Molybdenum in the second mineral is0.70%. Open experiment get the Molybdenum concentrate which contains Molybdenum51.51%and Copper0.37%, Molybdenum recovery59.97%and Copper concentrate has grade22.23%, Copper recovery82.07%.The infrared spectra of Chalcopyrite A and Chalcopyrite B affect with depressor before and after were analysed using the infra-red spectrum testing technology.Results of the research show that:the adsorption between Sodium Thioglycolate and Chalcopyrite A,Chalcopyrite B is forlord with chemical adsorption. Sodium Thioglycolate has the function of depressing to Chalcopyrite;QY adsorbed with Chalcopyrite A and Chalcopyrite B intensly in the form of chemical adsorption.The same results can be educed by Thermodynamic analysis. Being basic can judge,QY has the depression to Chalcopyrite is universal.
