Electromagnetic devices (i.e. transmission and distribution facilities, radar, mobile communications equipment, radio and television transmission towers, electromagnetic smelting equipment and household appliances, etc.) is extensivelyutilized, which is one of the key features in modern society. Electromagnetic devicesmaking contrition to modern life, but also inevitably impact on electromagneticenvironment. The impact can be expressed by a series of electromagnetic parametersand effective dose, however, the researches on dose assessment is a little weak. Dueto the public concern and China’s rapid development, it is necessary to conductresearches on accurate measurement of electromagnetic parameters(i.e. electric fieldintensity and magnetic field intensity) and radiation environment impact assessmentin order to protect the public and the environment. The title of thesis is"methodological study on electromagnetic radiation dose assessment for transmissionand distribution facilities". Based on the related standards and combined with casestudy on transmission and distribution facilities, a series of factors to play role inmeasurement of electric field intensity and magnetic field intensity have beensystemic analyzed. The mothod for accurate measurement has been put forward.Based on literature retrieval,"Body Dose Assessment for the Reference Person" isfirst proposed. With a conceptual model is presented with regard to transmission anddistribution facilities, and electric field strength formular is revised based ondistortion field. The doses for the reference person are calculated. Finally, themeasures to protect environment have also been proposed.
