| This thesis introduced the structure form of hot die forging press body and analytical method of the structure. The forming process of hot die forging was analyzed, the loading cases of the press were found. The press body was designed and analyzed on the basis of hot die forging process requirement. According to analysis results, the optimization of the body was implemented and the best frame of press was found.Firstly, the numerical simulation of hot die forging process were conducted through DEFORM. The metal flow velocity field, the stress field, the forging temperature and situation of the strain forces were obtained through analysis of the simulation result. The press requirements from hot die forging process were got.Then the model of the hot die forging press body was designed and built in SolidWorks according to the process requirements analysis and the typical press structure, the finite element analysis model was built. The static analysis of press body was implemented by using Workbench in uniform load and offset load situation. The maximum stress and deformation were obtained from the results. The first ten order natural frequencies and mode shapes were obtained through modal analysis.Lastly, according to static and modal analysis results, the optimization of press body was executed through Workbench. The weight of the frame is reduced while the machining precision stays the same. Through the analysis of optimum frame, the weight is reduced and the natural frequency is higher than before. |
