With the Development of secondary refining technology in recent years,that has become a technology trend of the steel-making factories at home and abroad, especially RH vacuum refining technology. After some years researching and developing, the mathematical control model of RH vacuum refining technology have been developed and applied in succession, improving the quality of the molten steel and product performance, reducing production costs.RH vacuum decarburization make use of the principle of the bubble pump, in the process, the circulating liquid steel flow is generated between the vacuum chamber and the ladle, carbon reacts with oxygen to produce CO, as reaction carry through, the carbon content is continuously reduced, so as to the purpose of the decarburization in molten steel is achieved.This paper establish the mathematical model of RH vacuum decarburization physicochemical process, that connected with the metallurgical principles, process control, automatic detection, network communication and computer technology, which based on the characteristics of production process control and process computer at MEISHAN steel.All these use others RH refining process automatic control model research for reference. With the model algorithm and program control, it achieve automatic control of RH refining process. The model relied on advanced detection equipment and means acquire the information of the exhaust gas in the vacuum decarburization process, combined with the initial carbon content in the pre-processed, and the carbon content in the process, the free oxygen, the weight and temperature of molten steel, etc., can be quickly and accurately forecast the carbon content in the molten steel. The model system is mainly composed of interface, algorithms inner, operating form, startup logic and database. Lots of information of vacuum decarburization process and the whole dynamic presentation process can be displayed in time on the screen, it provide a more Detailed reference to real-time control RH vacuum decarburization process for the operator.The RH dynamic decarburization model of Meishan Steel successfully has been brought into using, and open out advantage, improving further the accuracy of carbon content, and promoting the Meishan Steel product structure adjustment and manufacture varieties optimize, and improving production efficiency, reducing production costs and enhancing the rivalrousness of steel market. Meishan Steel RH dynamic decarburization model has been online tested and optimized, and hardware has been put into using stably, the accuracy of low-carbon steel carbon content is improved greatly, enhancing manufacture efficiency, reducing oxygen’s and aluminum’s consumption, there are the benefit of¥3,900,000million every year.
