Metal composite plate is a kind of rare metals saving,high resourceutilization rate material which has been generally accepted.Stainless steel iswidely applicate in construction, petrochemical, food industry etc due to itsgood surface condition.But,the widespread of stainless steel is restricted by thehigh price of nickel and chromium resources contented.Stainless steel/steelcomposite plate is a kind of new material that making materials reachedcomposite through rolling or explosion.This composite plate both have thesurface properties of stainless steel and strength and workability of carbonsteel,obtained the objective that saving precious metals and enhance the materialperformance.Because the stainless steel/carbon steel composite plate bondingmechanism and strength characteristics theory is not well developed,in thispaper we mainly through experimental search on the relationship between hotrolling process parameters and stainless steel/steel composite bonding strength,assisted by mathematical model and FEM model.My research mainly content these aspects:(1).Achieved the mathematical expressions of rolling force,rollingtorque,interface shear stress and roller diameter,reduction,rolling speed basicand coat layer thickness etc;(2).In FEM model,setted the roller diameter at320mm,analyzed theeffective strain and effective stress at bonding interface at differentreduction;setted the reduction at40%,analyzed the effective strain and effectivestress.Predict the interface bonding strength through these parameters;(3).Researched the effect of rolling reduction and rolling temperature onshearing strength,tensile and bend property of stainless steel/carbon steelcomposite bonding interface through experiment, to determine the parameterscan guide the practice of production;(4).Comparing the mathematical calculations,FEM analysis and testresult,identified the validity of the FEM research of interface normal stress and effective strain,achieved the formula of interface strength in this experimentalcondition.In this article,we will use the three methods of analytic,finite element andtest to explore the effect of hot rolling parameters on composite plate interfaceand play a certain reference role of the hot rolling of composite plate forming.
