Accumulator tank is a vertical cylinder vessel in the early stage,the pressure retaining material of which is high strength low alloy steel with stainless cladding.It is much more different from that of spherical structure and clad plate in Gen ?-advanced passive PWR.Mastering the technical characteristics of the new type Accumulator tank and the main performance of stainless steel clad plate for the first application in the range of nuclear island main equipments has very important practical significance.All these will lay a solid foundation for the designing of advanced pressurized water reactor nuclear power demonstration project which have independent intellectual property rights.This paper has analyzed the main technical characteristics of Accumulator tank in Gen ? PWR,the advantages and significance of spherical structure & clad plate in designing.In order to compare the difference of shear strength between the three type of combination mode of low alloy steel with stainless steel and get trend variability of main chemical elements within contact interface,we have tested the shear strength,chemical composition and observed microstructure of explosion welded clad plate,rolled clad plate and cladding forging.We have also tested the impact ductility of base metal with pre-tensioning plus simulated post-weld heat treatment,to get a Ductile-brittle transition fitting curve and transition temperature of SA-533 B Cl.1.In the end,we have analyzed and evaluated the forming process of clad plate with practical pressing and heat treatment process in the use of finite element method,to research the shear properties requirement of clad plate under different forming processes.
