Enlightenment is generally considered to have some relevance to the music of theclassical period, but its associated specific place where the not very clear. In this paper,the departure from the historical context, explore the cultural background; proceedfrom two angles of the idea of music and music creation, tracking the traces left bythe Age of Reason in the musical evolution of truth. The rise time of theEnlightenment in the European countries, the different development trends and strong,its in the UK, France, Germany and the social conditions of the three centers for thestudy of the background, to explore the degradation of the court music, folk musicprosperity, music, the enhancement of the aesthetic pursuit of the causes of thephenomenon, and music creation of anti-French, the main theme, naturalization andother emotional factors traced. In this paper, a chain of research programs, combinedwith the political, economic and cultural factors, and resolve to seek the mostessential emotional music of the Age of Reason.
