| This thesis researching the19th-century German and Austrian Piano Sonata, by select thecomposer’s piano sonatas of Schubert, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Brahms four representatives tocarry out the analysis. focusing on its first movement of the sonata form.movement structure, thelayout of the tonality, texture and sound characteristics of the acute analysis of contrast,characterized piano Sonata paradigm of the classical period, summed up the difference, with the 19th-century European social and cultural trends and music aesthetic ideas, analyzed andsummarized piano sonata genre Evolution and reason in the19th century German and Austrian.The content is divided into three chapters, the first chapter combing the the piano instrumentstereotypes and development,and described piano Sonata from the classical period to thedevelopment path of the Romantic period,summed up the basic paradigm of the classical pianosonata genre; the second chapter analysed external morphology of the characteristics of theRomantic piano sonata, further lays out the genre in the Romantic period of major developmentcontext and the evolution of trends; the third chapter describes the reason that why piano Sonatachanged, combining19th century social and cultural trends and musical aesthetic ideas of pianosonatas.Through the summary of genre from the classical period to the romantic period, this thesis,on the one hand, clearing this complex unorganized genre history of the development, on the otherhand, also reveals the reason for the decline of this genre. |
