Second language acquisition is a branch of applied linguistics in a relatively young discipline, research on acquisition order is a hot spot in the study of second language acquisition in recent years. It is a new direction to research the acquisition order of students learning Chinese. The acquisition order of polysemy adverb "jiu" is one of the worthing exploring fields. There is a order in the process of acquisition for foreign students, because "jiu" has different meanings. So what is the order and how to find the order, which haven’t been researched detailly. In this paper, firstly, we will construct a hypothetical acquisition sequence about foreign students in learning adverbs "jiu", which is based on the grammaticalization sequence of the modern Chinese polysemy adverb "jiu".Then,we will examine the actual order about students acquisition of adverbs "jiu" by corpus analysis, the methods of questionnaire test. Finally, we will verify the hypothesis that order before. It is found that low degree of grammaticalization of "time" and "link" location in the acquisition order of students, and higher degree of grammaticalization of "range" and "tone" acquisition is relatively difficult, on the acquisition order. That means it is feasible to estimate the actual acquisition of students from grammaticalization process, we think the research can provide a new angle for other language programs in the field of second language auquisition.According to the above conclusion and analysis on foreign students in the process of acquisition errors, we give some suggestions;such as considering the acquisition order of students when writing teaching materials;using comparison method and situational teaching method in the classroom teaching, hoping to help Chinese language teaching and research in the future.
