On Zhu Xi "moderate Chapters" Of Jurisprudence Philosophy

The Doctrine of the Mean is one of the representative work of Confucianism,which is a part of “Book of Rites”. In the Tang Dynasty and the Song Dynasties, TheDoctrine of the Mean had been become an independent book.Based on the research of Commentary on the Chung Yung of Chu Hsi andChuHsi’s other books, I try to explain about The Doctrine of Mean and the core oftraditional Confucianism theory such as air, heart and honesty, which is analyzed in thispaper. Talking about the core concept of Commentary on the Chung Yung, such as the theoryof Li-qi,the theory of temperament, virtue and reveal Chu Hsi’s thought about goldenmean under the new background—sustainable development of neo-confucianism.After a systematic understanding and highly philosophical summary of TheDoctrine of the Mean, Chu Hsi gives The Doctrine of the Mean a totally new physicalexplain, as one of the most important literature that study on Chu Hsi’s neo-confucianismthought. Deeply search on the book of Commentary on the Chung Yung is not onlyacting a very important part on further study of Chu Hsi’s neo-confucianism thought, butalso enlightening in the history of forming Chinese contemporary explanation theory.
