Urban Community Home-based Care Services And Social Work Intervention

Home pension status of the elderly in Nanjing Jianye District, the elderly demand for home endowment service, the degree of recognition of the elderly for social workers and home endowment service personnel’s professional quality and role positioning are analyzed, and found that the diversified needs of elderly are not being fully satisfied, community management is short of scientific and humanistic, various social support system can not effective coordination, lack of work ethic of helping the elderly, and discusses the necessity and feasibility of social work in home endowment and the specific content of social work in home endowment service.Construct and perfect the pension model to promote our country old age social security service system is imminent. Social workers as the backbone of the indispensable social harmony and its unique professional knowledge, certain ideas and special skills to help determine the competence and overcome some deficiencies that exist in the pension services at home. Social work in home endowment can improve social work professional social popularity and improve the social perception of social work; Benefit in the process of professionalization of social work in the house; Allows home endowment service platform, the integration of community work method, the further development of social work professionalization; To improve service for the old social work in the field of professional level.
