The Study Of Shandong University Men’s Basketball Center Offensive Capabilities And Countermeasures

Through the study of Chinese University Basketball Super (CUBS)2009-2010season, we find that the performance of the centers of Shandong University men’s basketball is not as good as expected, team performance is not ideal, the reasons leading to this phenomenon are manifold, the gap is omnibearing, especially the post players Liu Qun and Li Ke showed weak offensive side, although the centers can compete with other teams, there still exists noticable gap. Further careful analysis and comparison of CUBS, Shandong University team and the North rivals (Liaoning University, Harbin Engineering University, Northeastern University, Northeast Normal University, Renmin University of China, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Tianjin Polytechnic University), Shandong University has14home games, through the analysis of the centers’offensive capacity technical standards, we can find that the players of Shandong University, especially the centers are relatively weak, which makes the overall technology and tactical level can not be fully realized.The feature of modern basketball is that the center should become the backbone of a basketball team, the central figure, the soul of the organization tactics. At the same time the team has given him more mission and responsibilities. Center is the core of the team on the playing field, as well as the organizers and commanders. If a team lacks a soul, even if there is another strong defender, forward, it can not achieve good results, which can be proved in CBA, the highest level of domestic basketball league.This article is based on study on the problems of centers of Shandong University men’s basketball, we made a detailed comparison about the offensive capabilities between centers of Shandong University team and others, formulated the index of offensive capacity, and analyzed the data to obtain qualitative and quantitative results in the hope of providing a theoretical reference and guidance on technical and tactical for the future training and competition.By using the method of documentation, expert access and data statistics, by watching the live show and video, we made a detailed statistics about the offensive capabilities between centers of Shandong University team and others, and made systematic comparison and analysis. Through analysis, research results are as follows:(1)The centers’age, height, weight of Shandong University do not have favorable conditions, in the game they can play their indomitable fighting spirit, but the technique is rough.(2). In the game, the technology of sudden, flexible ability to scramble the ball is poor, the numbers of catching are fewer.(3) Means of shoot is small, means of score is relatively simple, only focus on the overall organization of the team attack, neglect personal attack.(4) The ability to score of the centers is not ideal, shooting technique is not good.(5)The sense of breakthrough is not strong, singles capacity needs to be proved.(6) Although there is a certain sense of rebounds, but the technology of crashing the offensive rebound and defensive rebound needs to be further strengthened.(7)The center players’capacities of controlling the ball and organizing an effective attack are rather poor. Mainly reflects in the passing skill is not strong, passing method is relatively simple, passing pace is slow, the intention of passing is too obvious, too many mistakes and instantaneous observation is poor.(8)The sense of fast break is not strong, attack power is inadequate, contingency on the field is not strong, because of the pursuit of stability, as a result, waste a lot of fast break opportunities.(9) The centers’ball handing is poor, mistakes, offense are more.(10) Lack of skilled offensive tactics, strain capacity is not enough.In short, through the offensive capability statistics of the centers in Shandong University men’s basketball, and the comparative study of offensive capabilities between centers of Shandong University and others, we can see, there are many shortcomings in the centers of Shandong University men’s basketball. In order for the rapid improvement, for a historic breakthrough in the next season, we must attach importance to the training of centers of Shandong University men’s basketball, improve their abilities in different aspects, especially the offensive capability.Therefore, we must improve the technical level from multi-aspect and three-dimensional angles, follow the development trend of basketball, identify gaps from the comparison, solve the problems in practice, so as to achieve a qualitative leap in the CUBS.
