The Research On The Current Situation Of The Professional Development Of College PE Teachers (Public) In Jiangxi

With the deepening of China’s teacher education reform, teacherprofessionalization as an important part of education reform has also been put on thefirst column of reform.College sports teacher professional development is a veryimportant part of teachers’ professional higher education reform. It is a developmentof the internal needs and also it’s the need for reform of college physical educationand it’s a good pathway to enhance the college PE teachers’ competitiveness andimprove the social status of them.In this research, I collate and summarize the literature data of teacherprofessionalization and PE teachers’ by methods of literature material.I conducted asurvey of public sports physical education teachers Specialization ten universities inJiangxi Province.I use mathematical statistics and logical analysis of the results of thesurvey statistics and analysis, and put forward recommendations for Universities inJiangxi Province Teacher Professional Development.I hope this research can providesome new ideas to the development of PE teacher professionalization in JiangxiProvince.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:1st Research data show: Jiangxi College PE Teachers in gender, age distributionstructure is reasonable. But there are two problems. The first is the Academic levels.Currently, undergraduate education teachers accounted for the largest proportion.Professional development of university teachers in the future it is necessary toimprove the academic level of university PE teachers. The second is to teachers’ titlesuneven distribution structure, and less senior teachers.2nd Survey shows: Jiangxi College Sports Teacher awareness is strong,especially the sense of lifelong learning, the vast majority of teachers considered thatthe teaching profession must lifelong learning, but social awareness of the teachingprofession is not perfect and profound. Most of the teachers in professionaldevelopment efforts are focused on the improvement of qualifications andprofessional learning, teaching and research and scientific awareness is still lacking.3rd Research data show: Jiangxi College PE Teachers acquisition of subjectexpertise, but for technical knowledge of modern information technology to bestrengthened.Teachers’ professional knowledge source approach in favor of thetraditional forms of access to knowledge.Creativity in the process of development ofsports expertise is not enough, there is not a more systematic and completely thedevelopment of sport expertise system.4th Research data show: With respect to professional ideas and expertise,Jiangxi College PE Teachers in the development of professional practice is good, mostof the teachers in teaching practice will have its own method of teaching managementmode and management students.But there are areas for improvement, such as the ability to create teaching reflection and teaching practice also need to strengthen.
