This thesis is based on the practical work of teaching Chinese of theauthor in Chumphuangsuksa School in Thailand for three months. The author useher experiences of teaching Chinese and collect numerous facts, try to investigatethe status quo of Chinese teaching in Chumphuangsuksa School, find out problemthan cause low quality of Chinese teaching and propose corresponding suggestion,to providing useful consultation for the person who engaged in Chinese teaching inThailand in the future. This thesis follows the principle of seeking truth from facts.There are six chapters in this paper. The first chapter introduces the origin of thesubject, currently research of Chinese teaching in Northeastern Thailand. Thesecond chapter explain general situation of Chumphuangsuksa School on the whole.The third chapter is the focus of this thesis; consist of studying situation of students,Chinese class arrangement, examination and assessment system, the learningcharacteristics of students, etc. The fourth chapter based on third chapter to find outfour shortcomings including school, teacher, students and teaching, studies Chineseis still in the experimental phase. The fifth chapter is to make recommendations forthe problem. The sixth chapter is conclusions, and the limitations of this study.
