Coaches and experts in different fields of sports always maintain the focus on strength drill.The continuous development of modern sport spurred the constant innovation and developmentin terms of strength training.Core strength training, as a new concept of drill and the method, hasgained extensive focus among the insiders and infiltrated gradually into various exercises ofsports programs. Currently, this training method has been a vital part of physical drill of Chinesevolleyball first-front team. However, this training means has not been given proper attentionamong the second-front and third-front youngsters.The main methods used in this paper are document-data method, investigation method,Delphi technique, mathematical statistics method, logical analysis method, etc. The paper tries tofind out the weakness of core strength training among reserve force of Chinese womenvolleyball through the survey, analysis, induction and summarization of current situation.Simultaneously, the author explores the inner relation between core strength training andphysical training of reserve force of Chinese women volleyball via the characteristic analysis ofvolleyball and meanwhile taking the features of this training method and elements intoconsideration. Finally, an appropriate method to strengthen the core area of body and to improvethe physical quality is attained. This paper attempts to provide scientific reference to corestrength training among reserve force of Chinese women volleyball. Main conclusions aresummarized as following:(1)As the age structure of reserve force of Chinese women volleyball indicates that youngcoaches, middle-aged coaches who are experienced and capable of accepting new things accountfor the most part of coaches are the nuclear force of coaches of reserve force of Chinese womenvolleyball. They are well-educated and experienced, possessing higher professional level andhigh titles.(2)The paper finds out the main reasons for the injuries of reserve force of Chinesewomen volleyball lie in the weakness of muscle strength. These parts include waist, belly andhip, which, coincidently, lie in the core parts of the body.(3)The reserve forces of Chinese women volleyball attach greater importance to theexercise of muscles in the lower limbs and neglect the drill of muscles of trunks, which leads tothe unbalanced development of muscles among uppers limbs, lower limbs and trunks. They emphasize forepart muscles firstly, and then rearwards muscles and lastly lateral muscles. Theregular exercise methods used in the physical drills involve core strength training, which,however, is not so systematic in means and ways.(4)Coaches of reserve forces of Chinese women volleyball spare no effort to getacquaintance with core strength and realize its importance to reserve forces of Chinese womenvolleyball. Notwithstanding, core strength training cannot be popularized among reserve forcesof Chinese women volleyball.(5)Some reserve forces of Chinese women volleyball are employing core strength training.But the occasion, frequency, time arrangement and training ways are not scientific, whichreflects the coaches’ lack of deep understanding of core strength training.(6)The main reasons for the failure of popularization of core strength training amongreserve forces of Chinese women volleyball lie in less knowledge of core strength training, lackof technological guidance and shortage of application condition and equipments.(7)coaches of reserve forces of Chinese women volleyball have got a glimpse of sportanatomy and the function of big muscles groups. But, they attach less importance to the smalland deep muscles groups.(8)Through the analysis of basic techniques and characteristics of passing, jump servingand spiking and blocking volleyball, designed for core strength training of the volleyballtechnical characteristics of the basic method; simultaneously, the author takes into thecharacteristics of the technical movements of the core areas of muscle force consideration anddesigned the special drill methods of exercise for the core strength.
