Research On The Organizational Structure Design Of The National Games Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony, casted and organized by the organizing committee, is thelargest and highest profile event and the symbolic ceremony for welcomingparticipants and guests of the National Games. Through the opening ceremony, theimage, the spirit and the culture of the hosting city can be displayed to people aroundcountry. The organizational structure of the opening ceremony is the starting point ofthe opening ceremony. Improving the organizational structure design of the openingceremony is a significant organizational guarantee for hosting a successful openingceremony.In this paper, the organizational structure of the opening ceremony of theNational Games is examined by the method of literature review, interviews, logicalanalysis, and field investigation and under the direction of the theoretical model ofsystematic school and the theory of value engineering. Especially through the analysisof the organizational structure of the opening ceremony of the11th National Games.Itpoints out the problems of the design of the organizational structure based on thenecessity of the establishment of the organizational structure, its setup, responsibilities,designing principles and its influences in order to provide suggestions for the futureorganizational structure design and offer referential experience for the preparation andorganization of other opening ceremonies of major sport events with the guidance ofscientific theories, learn from experience, lessons learned. This study to fullyimplement the central leadership on the guiding ideology of "reform National Games"frugal National Games, improve efficiency, streamline efficiency, and improve thescientific management level angle reflects the thrift has a certain theoretical andpractical significance.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:1. According to the theoretical model of systematic school and the theory ofvalue engineering, this paper comes up with the idea that the "functional organizationstructure" is better used as the opening ceremony organizational structure under theguidance of "functional" design of organizational structure based on the analyses offour key factors and designing methods of organizational structure that effect theorganizational structure of the National Games opening ceremony. 2. The organizational structure of the National Games opening ceremony haswitnessed the evolution of its structure from "within Group Calisthenics Department"to "within no special department" to "as a part Large-Scale Events Department" to"setting up independent Opening Ceremony Department".3. Through research and analysis, the11th National Games opening ceremony ofthe organizational structure design has some shortcomings, the main problems are:the "functional" structure of the opening ceremony is not properly utilized, causingthe11th National Games opening ceremony of the organizational structure unclear,the form of the functions of the system is not uniform, to some extent reduce theefficiency of the organizational structure of the National Games opening ceremony.And its organizational function doesn’t match its design.
