The Research Of Cultural Orientation Of Primary And Middle School History Textbook In The Republican Period

It is the Republican period that the development of modern textbooks laid a foundation.For the influence of various cultural trends in Chinese society at that time,History textbooks in primary and secondary schools show a certain cultural orientation in the Republican period.This thesis tries to research the cultural orientation of history textbooks to analyze the important influence of cultural change to history textbook written for primary and secondary schools,and the important role of history textbook of primary and secondary schools in cultural highlights and cultural development.This thesis is divided into six chapters:Chapter1:introduction.This chapter mainly introduces the research origin,background and research status,and defines the study area and the key concepts in this thesis.Chapter2:combing the development process of the history textbooks in the primary and secondary schools in the republican period.The development process can be divided into three stages:1912-1928,1929-1937andl938-1949.Its characteristics can be summarized as folk,diversification based on folk and standardization.Chapter3:the cultural orientation of history curriculum standards of primary and middle schools in the Republican period.The change of curriculum standards is the main sign of culture orientation for history textbooks.The author thinks that the history curriculum standards’cultural orientation of the history textbooks can be summarized as nation first,party first and leadership worship.Chapter4:the cultural orientation of editorial system of the history textbooks in primary and secondary school in the Republican period.The change of editorial system is the external form of the development of cultural orientation of history textbooks.The editing system of history textbooks has experienced a process that folk writing government censorship,mainly for fork writing and supplemented by the official writing,the official writing, official review.lt reflects a trend that government force strengthens increasingly in management and coercion of primary and secondary history textbooks. Chapter5:the cultural orientation of the content drawn of history textbooks in primary and secondary schools in the Republican period.The change of the content drawn is the mainly form of the cultural orientation change of history textbooks.The change of the content drawn refects the cultural orientation of liberalism,selfish departmentalism and nationalism.Chapter6:conclusion.On foundation of the summary to full thesis,we will analyze and evaluate the relationship between history and culture,the interaction between the primary and secondary schools history textbooks and culture.
