In today’s society, materialistic, people reach an unprecedented fickleness. People constantly ask, why do people become so blundering? Deity, God,and traditional morality are questioned, humans’ lacking of reverence, lacking of faith, lacking of ultimate pursuit. In general, the traditional morality has no inheritance, and new morality has no authority, moral cultivation is getting into trouble. How do people cultivate themselves? What kind of morality do people need? People tend to seek the wisdom from Chinese ancient sages. There is an wise Chinese sage in ancient times, called Lao tzu. Lao tzu is now becoming people’s attention all over the world in recent years. But to Han Dynasty,since Emperor Wu of Han carried out " Confucianist first" policy, Lao tzu’s thought has been bended and misinterpreted, the academic circles always introduces Lao tzu from the thought of Confucianism’s point of view, but do not dig out the true thought of Lao tzu. At the same time, Lao tzu’s works Tao Teh King are rich in content and succinct in style, including philosophy, ethics, politics, military science and many other disciplines, generally it is difficult to understand. And the academic circles’ attitudes of Tao Teh King are varied from person to person. Lao tzu’s thoughts are profound. this paper mainly explores the moral education thought of Lao tzu. This paper grasps "the essence of moral education is cultivating morality "this concept, focusing on Lao tzu’s morality cultivation system---What is morality? What is not morality? What is morality for? How to cultivate morality? In order to discuss the three problems clearly, this research also answered what Lao tzu’ is? What kind of book Tao Teh King is? What is morality cultivation? What is thought?This paper is divided into three parts, the first part is the introduction. Mainly introduces background, research significance, research status at home and abroad, research methods, research innovation and insufficiency. Identification of related concepts in the second part, why to me,"moral" is what book answer, also in Germany, education, moral education thought, idea, thought and word for historical research. The third part for me moral education ideology. On the basis of previous studies, this paper discusses the moral education thought me from two sides, answer to what is, not what Germany, Germany why and how moral education.
