Compared the underground power drill to the traditional turntable drilling, the former have great superiority in the penetration rate, increasing the drilling footage and reduce the drilling cost.But the support bearing of the open turbine of drill Wear more serious because of the mud scouring,which need through the seal agencies to the greatest degree of protection bearing, gear reducer gear transmission system also need through the sealing devices, which will separated the seal outside of the cavity mud and seal cavity of the lubricating oil, but conventional sealing systems very prone to leakage and turbodrill quickly fades.The paper based on the conventional seal, on the one hand, puts forward a new way for deducing the axial force balance of supporting quarter seal and made a conclusion of confined area, then design of new sealing structure, in order to realize the reliability and accuracy design, testing the mechanical seal from three different aspects of mechanical seal structure performance which reflects the [PV] value,On the other hand from the perspective of speed reducer vibration, considering reducer spindle axial and radial complex vibration, design single metal seal containers which use rubber as the elastic element to replace the mechanical seal which use spring as the elastic element, By theoretical calculation and finite element analysis, getting the stress curves of sealing surface from inside to outside, combining with oil film best working condition, optimize the sealed pressure.On the basis of the two seal model, and the actual working condition of the combined turbodrill, design and assembly turbodrill seal test-bed, The sealing testing software was developed base on the VB6.0, on the one hand, This experiment test seals torque and temperature, study the friction consumption of seals; On the other hand, research the seal service life which under different pressure and speed and the influence of vibration on the mechanical seal performance, Finally we conduct the test in the test-bed which divided two groups of testing, including low and high pressure, the main testing project including the torque, end temperature, oil film thickness and the Ring momentum.
