Steam stimulation and steam flooding of thermal recovery method are main technologies for heavy crude oil recovery enhancement. Different degrees of heat loss of steam system exist in all aspects of production and operation. After heat loss detection, the ground steam pipelines average heat loss is 391W/m2 which is higher than standard of the allowable maximum heat loss as 209W/m2, and seriously affect steam stimulation and thermal recovery economic benefits. Research on efficient thermal insulation material and structure, to maintain the pipeline temperature of the steam and dry degree which can greatly improve the heavy oil thermal recovery effect and improve economic benefits.Through the analysis and Research on the heat loss of steam injection system, from the preferred insulation materials, insulation structure, optimization of boiler parameters real-time monitoring of several aspects, developed a practical method, to improve the thermal efficiency of steam injection system, and on-site test. The ultimate realization of steam injection pipeline average surface heat flux from 391w/m2 to 115w/m2, per kilometre and heat loss rate from 4.15% to 1.08%, improved the traditional high temperature pipe insulation material insulation layer thickness, the disadvantages of existing joint too much, adhesion and waterproof of the poor, so as to improve the thermal efficiency of steam injection system for the purpose of. Developed one for steam injection pipeline insulation “inlay” new type insulation structure, changed the original hard material flat port connections, enhances the firm structure, reduce the heat loss of the pipeline. At the same time, we according to the actual situation on site were designed insulation structure specifications, applicable to 114 mm diameter and 76 mm two specifications for steam injection pipelines. To solve the steam injection pipeline heat loss serious problems, so as to improve the intelligent level of steam injection boiler control system, reduce the heat loss, to further consolidate the foundation guarantee oil yield, stable yield.
