Change Detection Of Mountain Highway Ecological Environment Based On RS And GIS

Since the reform and opening up, highway construction of our country has made remarkable achievements, the total mileage of highway ranks first in the world. Highway construction boost sustained and rapid national economic development. At the same time, highway caused increasingly serious environmental problems, especially the impact on the ecological environment increasingly significant. With the national environmental protection strategy were introduced, and increasing citizen awareness of environmental protection, environmental protection, also includeing highway environmental protection, is becoming the focus of attention. Fully understanding the impact of highway construction and operation process of the ecological environment, has important significance for the decisions of highway construction and environmental protection.This research carry out change detection of ecological environment of highway based on RS and GIS, use time series of remote sensing image covering highway construction and operation of the entire process, survey and design information of highway, and other auxiliary data, extract ecological environment timing change information in process of highway construction and operation based on the index system of highway ecological environment, then analysis the impact of highway construction and operation for the ecological environment. The main research work and achievements are as follows:Firstly, this research apply change detection techniques in ecological environment domain, and proposed the research of change detection of highway ecological environment based on RS and GIS techniques.Secondly, this research constructed the index system of highway ecological environment, and quantified the calculation methods of each indicator from index system based on RS, GIS and statistical data.Thirdly, this research summed up the methods of change detection of highway ecological environment, including data source selection, data preprocessing methods, time series image classification methods, extraction method of time-series information of ecological environment index system, and the method of change detection of highway ecological environment.Fourthly, taking Qiwan highway for example, concretely executes the research of change detection of highway ecological environment in the mountains. The case study shows that: in the process of highway construction and operation, the quality of ecological environment go down, and increase the complexity of ecological landscape, compared with the construction phase, the operation has a greater impact on the ecological environment, the main reason is that highway operation drive economic development of areas along the highway, the construction itself bigger scale than highway construction.Finally, this research lay the foundation for impact assessment of high ecological environment.
