In modern life, people always faced with bacterial invade and harass, human health was threated by the spread of harmful bacteria. The living environment and health were paid seriously attention by people, which promoted the development of antibacterial materials. Copper-bearing antibacterial stainless steel have excellent antibacterial property and bright and beautiful decorative property and corrosion resistance property was used in food processing, kitchen ware, medical health, biology and Marine fields, which had a broad application prospect. Single phase copper-bearing antibacterial stainless steel was mainly researched at present, duplex copper-bearing antibacterial stainless steel functional researches was lacking. Based on this, three kinds of copper-bearing antibacterial duplex stainless were made by solution treatment and 540,560 and 580℃ antibacterial aging processes, and corrosion resistance, mechanical properties, cavitation erosion properties of copper-bearing antibacterial samples and solution treatment sample had been investigated by OM, SEM, XRD, XPS, electrochemical measurements, tensile testing machine and ultrasonic cavitation erosion tester.Solution treatment sample corrosion resistant property was best in culture medium without bacteria, antibacterial specimens with the temperature increasing of aging, corrosion resistance decreased. In culture medium containing bacteria, antibacterial specimens with the temperature increasing of aging corrosion resistance property decreased after rising first, corrosion resistance property of solution treatment sample after 560℃ sample.In acetic acid solution,560℃ sample corrosion resistant property was the best, 580 and 540℃ samples was lower, solution treatment sample was the worst. This was because in acetic acid solution the antibacterial samples dissolution Cu2+ formed Cu(OH)2, which adhered to the surface of materials, especially around the pitting corrosion pits, reduced material dissolution rate, pitting extension rate and passivation potential, improved the material corrosion resistance property. In addition, the antibacterial materials cotaining the more copper-rich phase, the greater the dissolving out of Cu2+, the more of Cu(OH)2, the material corrosion resistance property was improved.Mechanical test showed that the tensile strength of antibacterial samples were all higher than solution treatment sample, with the increasing of antibacterial aging temperature, tensile strength and plastic declined.Cavitation erosion test showed,560℃antibacterial sample cavitation erosion resistance was better than solution treatment sample, ferrite precipitation copper-rich phase improved the cavitation erosion resistance, but the cavitation erosion resistance was still inferior to austenite.560℃ antibacterial specimen and solution treatment specimen had incubation period, rising period, stable period and attenuation four cavitation erosion development stages, the weightlessness mainly embodied in the rise and decline period, and the loss of antibacterial specimen is smaller than solution-treatment specimen.
