Jing 17 Block locates in the east of Jinganpu structural zone, S34 is the development targeted zone, which belongs to litho-tectonic reservoir, fan delta frontal deposition with average porosity 14.3%, average permeability 76×10-3μm2.Reservoir depth is-2070 m ~-2230 m, oil area 6.1km2, and geologic reserve 669.85×104t.Since 1988, there have been 3 different phases in Jing 17 Block, which is incremental, stable and declination phase. Due to low porosity and permeability as well as high pour point oil, it is very difficult to develop the block. Main problems: effect of water injection is not good under wide spacing condition in sandstone reservoir with low permeability, bad response wells. Integral development of the block is not ideal.Current production rate of Jing 17 Block is only 0.19%, recovery degree 6.89%, it is difficult to achieve calibration recovery rate(17.5%) on the basis of current well spacing and development well network. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct multi-project study, such as vertical well infill, horizontal well infill, horizontal well trans-formational fracturing, adopt reasonable well pattern and well spacing, draw up reasonable infill project, improve flood pattern, conduct water flooding in the block and improve development effect. In foreign oilfields, the concept of “inverted nine spot water injection-five spot-infilled well pattern-tertiary recovery” is well applied in low permeability reservoir. Generally speaking, relatively high recovery rate will be gained in larger well spacing density and better water flooding areas. In domestic oilfields, Changqing Oil Administration and Exploration Bureau use orthogonal experiment to conduct numerical simulation to improve development project, reasonable well spacing density has maximum cumulative net present value. According to single index analysis, conduct multi-index comprehensive analysis, and optimize project design.
