Open mixing mill plays an important role in the production of radial tires. The merits of clearance adjustment have a direct impact on production quality. In actual production, the traditional mechanical adjustment devices have various disadvantages, such as poor pitch accuracy, a long time for safety pad replacement, It will be on the machine and operator safety hazard.To solve the above problems,The thesis studies the development of clearance adjustment of open mixing at home and abroad, design the clearance adjustment of open mixing mill and analyze control methods of system mainly.A conventional PID controller, ordinary fuzzy controller, fuzzy-PID dual-mode controller and fuzzy self-tuning PID controller are designed in turn and the simulations have all been compared. Based on fuzzy RBF neural network,propose a better PID control system.Simulation results show that the PID control system based on fuzzy RBF neural network can satisfy the control requirements of clearance adjustment better.First of all,by reading many domestic and foreign materials,design the hydraulic system according to the requirement of system parameters.By calculating,build up the nonlinear mathematical model and analyze its stability.Secondly, the thesis will use PID controller to regulate system due to the failure of reaching to design requirements.The system is hard for a PID parameters to adjust to the change of system parameters due to the problem of PID control.Finally,The study found fuzzy-PID dual controller developed and fuzzy self-tuning PID controller excellent dynamic characteristics.The simulation shows that the latter two are more effective on overshoot and response, comparing to ordinary controller.On the basis of distance control system design and analysis of research open mixing machine hydraulic transfer, through conventional PID controllers, general fuzzy controller,fuzzy-PID dual-mode controller and fuzzy self-tuning PID controllers were compared. The results demonstrated that by integrating the fuzzy control and neural networks, have developed a new PID control method in overshoot, steady precision, well in line with the open mill hydraulic pitch system requirements, the simulation results proof, the more obscure self-tuning PID controllers have obvious advantages.
