In recent years, with the rapid development of food, textiles, petroleum and plastics industries, screw machinery is used more and more widely. Screw, as the core components of the screw machinery, its processing quality and efficiency will directly affect the use and performance of the screw machine. For a long time, many domestic and foreign companies have about the processing and development of screw type workpieces. With the continuous development of the manufacturing industry, it will be a new competition for modern enterprises by how to processing products with high automation, high efficiency and high-quality. Dual Head CNC milling machine, a high production efficiency screw processing equipment is developed in this context. Two milling cutters can be used in screw processing at the same time, which improve the production efficiency and reduce production efficiency and enhance the enterprise competitiveness.Compared to traditional screw processing milling machines, Dual Head CNC milling machines adds one more working milling cutter and the mechanical structure of it becomes more complicated. When two milling cutters are worked in screw processing, there will be more cutting force on milling machine. To ensure the screw processing quality, the statics and dynamics analysis of its components is required. After learing the milling machine components characteristics, the structures which can not meet the static and dynamic stiffness should be optimized and the milling machine processing performance should be improved.To apply the finite element ideas and its software to analysis the components is one of the main methods to learn all the performance of the components. By finite element static analysis, the stress and strain of the subjects which is affected by the static load can be obtained and the structure static rigidity can be learned. By the finite element dynamic analysis, the natural frequencies and mode shapes, the displacement response under external excitation and the reaction structural dynamics stiffness can be learned.This article is written with good knowledge of screw processing and milling machine features. The simplified geometric model was of milling pallets,headstock, tailstock and bed was drawn by three-dimensional drawing software Proe. And this software can also analysis of the forces and boundary conditions for each structure during screw processing. In Patran, Tetrahedral was used to divided continuum body into several units and also make out cloud pictures of static analysis, modal analysis and frequency analysis. Based on cloud pictures analysis, the components will be determined whether they can meet the static and dynamic stiffness requirements. And modification propose for pallet and bed components will be made out and will be for further analysis. In this way, the structure performance will be enhanced and screw processing precision and efficiency will be improved.
