With the rapidly development of modern machinery manufacturing industries inhigher speed, higher precision and higher flexibility, position of the machine tools inthe modern machinery manufacturing industries is become more and more important.It reflects the development level of the whole country. The dynamic performance ofthe machine tool has a strong impact on the whole machine performance, machiningaccuracy and cutting speed. If we produce lathes first, then modify, there are someproblems, such as long manufacturing cycle, high cost. So it is necessary to carry outthe finite element simulation on machine tool. The dynamic performance can beforecasted so that we can optimize the machine. This paper studies the SK2535largeCNC Boring and Milling Machineļ¼Œand using the finite element analysis softwareANSYS as a tool to analyze. The main works are as follow:(1) The research status at home and abroad were described, The features and therequirements for machine tools are discussed.(2) The basic concept and theory of model analysis was introduce detailedly, andthe method and procedures of finite element analysis software ANSYS was introduce.(3) The milling machine tool have been built through3dimension softwarenamed SolidWorks, then meshed by ANSYS. The choice of element types and meshgeneration was discussed. Though the analysis of strength and stiffness, we obtainedthe deformation, amplitude and frequency under the worst working conditions. Theweakest part was found out by analyzing the anti-vibration performance. Somesuggestions were put forward about the improvement of the machine tool.(4) The theory and modeling approach of junction surface were introduceddetailedly. Finite element model of composite structure was established by confirmingthe stiffness and damping of junction surface.(5) Though simplified the force and constraints of the parts, chosen the elementtypes mesh generation, the dynamic analysis was carried out. According to the result,the paper make an accurate evaluation, obtained the The dynamic stiffness of X Y Zdirection.
