| In metal processing, especially in copper processing industry, the emulsion was widely used for drawing, rolling and so on processes. A lot of waste emulsion was produced, that have complex ingredients and content of high COD. Some medium or small enterprises directly discharge of waste emulsion into the environment without any treatment, resulting in serious pollution of water environment. It is very urgent to seek a way of dealing waste emulsion with low cost, simple operation, strong processing ability. In this paper we use the method which was used waste acid to demulsification and used the activated sludge to treat deeply to deal treat the waste emulsion processing in copper production. Combining the two different methods to treat the waste emulsion, we have reached the industrial wastewater discharge standards. After treating by activate sludge, we took the treatment water as target and COD, oleaginousness pH and SS as water quality indicators. The study took simulation emulsion wastewater as target and COD as water quality indicators, using single factor and orthogonal test as method. It investigated the relationship between the oil-water separation effect and the amount of added acid, the separation, the temperature, the salt species and the salt adding dosage. After the treatment of simulated waste emulsion, we have found the best conditions of demulsification. It is the best when adding10ml of0.1mol/L sulfuric,10g AlCl3per liter waste emulsion. Then mixing evenly and standing for20h at40℃. Before the treatment of activated sludge, the activated sludge should be domesticated with the waste water for15days. In the full load condition effluent water quality can be reached in the biochemical treatment of23h. The water qualities meet the national emission standard of class two.On the basis of experiment, the best condition of treating the simulated waste emulsion was used in emulsion wastewater. And the acid was changed for waste acid. The COD of the waste emulsion was up to1.60×105mg/L and the oleaginousness was up to7.80×10mg/L. after adding the demulsion of waste acid, the COD was1.25×104mg/L, and the oleaginousness was242mg/L. Two indicators didn’t meet the national emission standard. But through the treatment of activated sludge, the COD was down to110mg/L, and the oleaginousness was down to7.96mg/L The removal rate of COD is above99%, the removal efficiency of oil is above96.7%. The effluent water quality can meet the national discharge standard of class two.Through the analysis of the experiment, we designed a set of low cost, simple operation, easy to realize the process automation. All the Members of this process are modular structures; Compared with the traditional process, space utilization is more efficiency, the advantages is less investment, short construction period, and easy conversion. |
