As the development of the gas field Sulige,low pressure, low production gas wells and producing water wells has increased quickly, but because of low production, these wells can not fully meet the production need for the liquid carrying gas wells. As a consequences, fluid has been accumulated in well bottom,which may bring about a production decline of gas well. Under the circumstances, it becomes the urgent problem in the production of gas well with water that how to select the optimum drainage gas recovery technology to gain the greatest economic benefits according to gas well actual conditions.In this paper, gas producing history of producing water wells in East Sulige are systematically summed up. We analyzed adaptabilities of the existed drainage gas recovery techniques in East Sulige, put forward to process programs which are aimed at the various borehole conditions and production phases. Secondly, this paper carried the research of adaptability of foam drainage, mechanism of UT-6foam agent for the producing water condition and process characteristics in Sulige gas field and optimize foaming agent suited to Sulige gas field. Besides, in this paper,we also evaluated the downhole choke suitability and gave reasonable suggestions.Finally, on the basis of indoor research and experimental datas, we successively carried out the foam drainage field experiments. Analysis and evaluation were carried out on downhole parameters. Countermeasures studies were carried out which are aimed at drainage gas recovery techniques for low pressure and low production gas wells. Theoretical research and field application have generated suitable drainage gas recovery techniques for low permeability and low production gas wells in East Sulige, which had significant effect on increasing production during medium to late term of Sulige gas field development.The innovation of this paper lie in:Analysis and evaluation were carried out on downhole parameters, which contribute to present drainage gas recovery solutions aimed at low pressure and low production gas wells.
