With The Continuous development of society, mobile communications has beena part of our lives and the popularity of mobile communication needs more and morebase stations. Although the capacity of communication station has been greatlyimproved, but electromagnetic radiation generated by the stations also becomes aconcern of public. The fear of electromagnetic radiation has led much contradictionbetween residents and operator enterprises, such things also occur in Jinan City.In order to understand the electromagnetic pollution of mobile communicationbase stations around Jinan City, this paper collects basic information of base stationsin Jinan, and then analysis the distribution of base station in Jinan City. We selected acertain amount of a typical stations in Lixia District Jinan City to measure, analyzedthe measured data. And then study the change regulation of electromagnetic pollutionin horizontal and vertical level.And come up with a model to predict electric fieldintensity around base station in horizontal and vertical direction. Then compare thepredicted values with the measured values to prove the correctness of the predictionmodel and get a much amendatory model with more suitable parameters. In the finaluse the model to predict the electromagnetic pollution in Jinan and make a chat.Withanalysis of results, we got the following conclusions:(1)48m tower accounting for nearly half of the whole tower of the Jinan City,The25m and20m tower are also relatively more than the rest. In order to reduce theintensity of electromagnetic radiation of the base station, usually try to significantlyreduce the transmission power of the antenna, usually GSM900, GSM1800are20W,TD-SCDMA is12W, dip-angle is fixed5. For the study, these characters brings theprediction of electromagnetic radiation much convenience.(2)About52%of Jinan communication is a single,35%is GSM900andTD-SCDMA two co-located, close to10%is GSM900, GSM1800, TD-SCDMA threeco-located base station;(3) The horizontal and vertical directions monitored values can draw some basiclaws, that the fields in the horizontal direction at first go up and then decreased, and certainly there is a peak. In the vertical direction the closer to the base theelectromagnetic field is greater; Even though the location of base station is muchreasonable, there will still be blind, and many factories can affect Electromagneticradiation, height, angle, air pollution, buildings and so on;(4) By comparing the predicted values with the measured values in horizontaland vertical directions,electric field intensity curve between the two is consistent,verifies the correctness of the selected prediction parameters, and verify thecorrectness of the calculation model, then predict electromagnetic pollution of basestations in Jinan City with prediction models;(5) In general the level of electromagnetic radiation of base station in Jinan iswithin the normal range, the electromagnetic radiation field strength generated by thebase station is in line with "electromagnetic radiation control limit" requirement witha few exceeding phenomenon;(6) There are many electromagnetic radiation clean areas in Jinan, there are alsoserious polluted areas, such as central and southern Jinan Lixia District, ShizhongDistrict, Huaiyin District. The surrounding suburbs of Jinan and scenic spots areelectromagnetic radiation clean and there are also many areas without stations, mainlymountainous, scenic river areas and main roads. Overall, electromagnetic pollution inJinan is basically good, we can still build many stations.
